Emma is a third-year Tutor in B Entryway with her husband, Ahmed; daughter, Nora; and cat, Maisie. She attended Cornell University, where she and Ahmed met and later got engaged. After graduating in 2017 with a double major in English and sociology, she taught high school English in the Bronx as a Teach For America corps member. Now, she works at The Possible Zone, an education nonprofit in Jamaica Plain, as the Director of Curriculum. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, running (very) slowly, weightlifting, writing stories, crafting, and trying new Smitten Kitchen recipes. She’s excited to meet you all!
