I am a postdoc at the Broad Institute, studying the genetics of type 2 diabetes. Before starting at Broad, I did my PhD between the University of Cambridge and the National Institutes of Health. For my undergrad, I studied computational biology at Duke University. When not in lab, I will use any excuse I can to be outdoors. As a result, unlike most people who choose to be remarkably skilled at a few activities, I am remarkably average at many activities. I particularly enjoy hiking, camping, traveling to new places, and daydreaming of my semester spent in New Zealand. If I can help with anything science PhD-related, don't hesitate to reach out.
