Hope Schwartz
Hope is an emergency medicine resident at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. She graduated from Harvard (Kirkland!) in 2016, where she studied economics and was a member of the women's rugby team and a FOP/HOC leader. She attended medical school at UCSF, where she spent a 5th year working at the Kaiser Family Foundation in SF/DC researching financialization in emergency medicine and avenues for policy change. In residency, she involved in medical education/quality improvement projects on resuscitation, ED throughput and health equity. She has been a Harvard Alumni Interviewer since 2016 and a non-resident pre-med tutor since 2019. Outside of work, she loves backpacking, surfing and trying to grow a vegetable garden.
