Klara Kuemmerle

Hi everyone! I graduated Harvard in 2024 and studied Environmental Science and Public Policy. I was also a FOP leader, a HOC leader, in the Clean Energy Group, and a member of Fossil Fuel Divest Harvard!

I'm currently a 3rd year PhD candidate in the Earth and Planetary Sciences department studying climate and atmospheric sciences with a particular interest in climate extremes, agriculture, and public health.

I grew up in Boston (and am quite a big fan), but in my spare time you can find me venturing out via trail running, hiking, backpacking, any and all types of skiing, summer bike rides to new swim spots, and culinary-motivated destination walks, runs, or long bike rides to find the best bagel in the greater Boston area. I also love listening to podcasts, working on puzzles, making empanadas, improving my müsli game, and engineering new HUDS creations.
