Mohamed Elzarka

Mohamed Elzarka is a resident physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. He graduated from Stanford Medical School after attending the University of Cincinnati -- where he earned bachelor's degrees in neurobiology and liberal arts, as well as a master’s degree in public health with field research completed in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of a Fulbright Study/Research grant. He is passionate about medical education, pathophysiology, humanism in medicine, global health, and health equity -- and cares deeply about mentoring and supporting the next generation of physicians and healthcare leaders. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, swimming, kayaking, and playing squash -- as well as cooking (especially without a recipe) and baking (almost always with a recipe). You can also find him perusing the Museum of Fine Art, taking walks through the Common at golden hour, or catching up over a cappuccino with friends!
