Winslow Ferris

Hi Kirkland! I'm a second-year medical student and Cambridge native. Before starting at HMS, I studied languages and literature at Middlebury College with the intention of going into education. After college, I received a Fulbright to teach for two years in Taiwan. While taking classes toward a masters in English literature from Middlebury's Bread Loaf School of English, I decided to change careers and go into medicine. I completed a postbac at Bryn Mawr and spent the following year working in an emergency department. I'm happy to help with any questions regarding postbacs, fellowships, and medical school! I love animals of all kinds, running along the Charles, and writing (fiction and film!).
